Do you make your living as a musician? I do.

If so, where else do you gig/teach/conduct/sing/perform? I perform regularly with the Grammy Award winning Los Angeles Chamber Singers & Cappella, have just completed my tenth season with the Carmel Bach Festival, sing on television and film scores, and direct a children’s choir in Pasadena.

Where else do you sing NOW?: Sinai Temple, LACS & Cappella, Jacaranda, Carmel Bach Festival Chorale, working on a recording of songs by Luke Nelson

Recent solo roles or guest appearances: Louis Andriessen’s De Stijl on the LA Phil’s Green Umbrella series (2009)

Highlights of your musical career: Lincoln Center performance of Steve Reich’s Tehillim with other members of LAMC, playing Patsy Cline in long-running production of “Always…Patsy Cline” in Chicago

Favorite choral work: Bach’s B Minor Mass, Handel’s Dixit Dominus

A defining moment or favorite onstage experience: After years of working in Classical music, I saw a documentary about women in Country Music and realized I needed to honor that part of my heritage as well.

What are you listening to these days?: Andreas Scholl, The Wailin’ Jennies, Earth Wind and Fire

Anything you’d like to add about yourself?: I WILL learn to play the fiddle.
