Voice part: Tenor

Season you joined the Chorale: 2004

Birthplace: New Jersey

Education/Vocal Training: Vocal training in the Stanford University Music Program with Gregory Wait, private voice training with Dianne Alexander

Do you make your living as a musician? No

Where else do you gig/teach/conduct/sing/perform? Cantoring and choral singing at Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo, CA.

What else do you do as a "day job"? I am an environmental attorney at Bingham McCutchen in downtown Los Angeles.

Where else do you sing NOW? Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo, CA.

Recordings/TV/Film: Recordings: Just Like That (Stanford Mendicants, 1991), Feline Casanova (Stanford Mendicants, 1992), Praying the Rosary with St. Alphonsus Maria Ligouri (Redemptorists/Denver Province, 2008)

Highlights of your musical career: Performing the Mahler 8th in Esa-Pekka Salonen's final performance at the Hollywood Bowl; singing the debut of the Berlioz Requiem in Disney Hall; performing the Los Angeles premiere of the Rouse Requiem

Favorite choral work: Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil (so far)

A defining moment or favorite onstage experience: Singing in the men's chorus for Tristan und Isolde in the dark rafters of Disney Hall, to a conductor on a television screen, a half-second delayed from the sound of the music, while two people strip naked on a massive video screen to a full audience.

What are you listening to these days? Lately, an uncomfortable but bizarrely intriguing combination of Dar Williams and Art Garfunkel, with a bit of Weird Al Yankovic thrown in for good measure.

Anything you'd like to add about yourself? Always.
