Season you joined the Chorale: 1984

Education/Vocal Training: B.A., Music Ed. UCLA; M.A., Choral Music. CSUF; D.M.A Studies, Choral Conducting. USC

Do you make your living as a musician? No

What else do you do as a "day job"? I am a Vice President of Idyllwild Arts and Director of the Summer Program (since 1986.)

Where else do you sing NOW? Except for a VERY occasional pick-up job, nowhere.

Highlights of your musical career: Idyllwild Arts Festival Choir, 1968 Carmina Burana, Robert Holmes conducting; LAMC, 1974 Brahms Requiem, Robert Shaw conducting (I was a sub. Roger was on tour.); Aspen Music Festival, 1976 St. Matthew Passion, John Nelson conducting; LAMC 1987/88 Beethoven 9th, Kurt Sanderling conducting; LAMC 2001 Verdi Requiem, Zubin Mehta conducting; LAMC 2003, first Mahler 2 at Disney Hall, Salonen conducting

My favorite choral work: Bach, St. Matthew Passion

A defining moment or favorite onstage experience: The first informal Disney Hall rehearsal with Grant Gershon

What are you listening to these days? I don't listen to much music.
