Do you make your living as a musician? no
If not, what else do you do as a “day job”? Earning my Ph.D. in geochemistry at Caltech
Where else do you sing NOW? Caltech Men’s Glee Club and Chamber Singers
Highlights of your musical career: performing Schumann’s Dichterliebe in recital this year; the baritone solo in Brahms’ Requiem in 2008; and my first performance in Disney Hall with the L.A. Master Chorale!
Favorite choral works: Mozart’s Requiem; Hassler’s Ach weh des Leiden
What are you listening to these days? Grizzly Bear, Beach House, Animal Collective, Radiohead, etc.
