Public transportation to the Music Center

The MTA Metro Red Line brings riders to the Civic Center/Tom Bradley stop at First and Hill two blocks east of the Music Center. The Metro Blue, Green and Gold lines all connect with the Metro Red Line.

San Fernando Valley — Metro Red Line

Travel time from northern terminus North Hollywood Station at Lankershim and Chandler to Civic Center Station is about 26 minutes.

San Gabriel Valley — Metro Gold Line

Travel time from eastern terminus Sierra Madre Villa Station at Halstead and 210 Freeway with Metro Red Line transfer is about 42 minutes.

Long Beach — Metro Blue Line

Travel time from southern terminus Pacific Station, 498 Pacific Avenue, with Metro Red Line transfer is an hour.

South Los Angeles — Metro Blue Line

Travel from stops Long Beach to Los Angeles with Metro Red Line transfer is less than an hour.

Beach Cities — Metro Green Line

Travel time from the western terminus at Marine/Redondo Station at 2406 Marine Avenue including Metro Blue Line and Metro Red Line transfers is about an hour.

Santa Monica, Westside — Metro Rapid Bus 720 and Metro Red Line

Travel time on Metro Rapid Bus 720 from Fifth and Colorado in Santa Monica to Wilshire/Western Station is about 30 minutes; from Wilshire/Western Station to Civic Center Station is about 10 minutes.

Santa Monica, Westside — Santa Monica Big Blue Bus 10

This freeway express bus 10 takes riders to and from the Music Center’s Hope St. entrance. [NOTE: Last buses to and from Santa Monica leave at approximately 8:40pm].

Hollywood — Metro Red Line

Travel time from Hollywood/Highland Station to Civic Center Station is about 20 minutes.

West Hollywood — Local and limited buses

Metro Bus Lines 2, 4, 10, 11, 14 and 16 as well as limited buses 302, 304 and 316 bring visitors from the neighborhoods surrounding Beverly, Fairfax, Melrose, and West Hollywood.

Burbank, Glendale — Local buses

Metro Bus 90, 91, 92, 94, 96 bring visitors from Foothill communities into downtown Los Angeles.
