The Master Chorale Board of Directors is privileged to announce a very generous gift from Lillian and Jon Lovelace honoring Rena Waltz Pierson, Lillian Lovelace’s mother. This unprecedented commitment acknowledges the Chorale’s remarkable growth and artistic achievement under the leadership of Music Director Grant Gershon.
In making this gift, Lillian and Jon Lovelace perpetuate Rena Waltz Pierson’s lifelong love of and involvement with music — as a choral conductor, concert pianist and soloist — and the inspiration she provided to all whose lives she touched. In recognition of the Lovelaces’ generosity, the Master Chorale has created The Rena Waltz Pierson Music Directorship.
