Choruses from The Death of Klinghoffer, a modern classic, is powerful, poetic, profound. Harmonically kaleidoscopic, the work relates the hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro and grapples with universal issues that are as timely now as ever. This choral meditation on the tragic events and their causes complements dramatically and musically one of the most sublime of all choral works, the extraordinary Mozart Requiem.
